The Kingswood Centre's Work Shop Program assists clients in broadening their skill sets.  The skills taught within this program are then transferred to community job placements.

This is accomplished by:

• Individual goal setting

• Workplace preparation (ie.  improving social and literacy skills)  

• Assisting clients in acquiring employability skills

• Providing volunteer opportunities

• Providing support to clients in work placements

• Supportive community inclusion

 The Work Shop Program accepts contracts from both businesses and the general public. 

Examples of past and present contracts include:

• Wood working projects

• Janitorial services

• Lawn maintenance

• Line painting
